Indications

^^ It is used in camels, cows, horses and sheep
Goats, dogs and cats in the following cases:
As a source of energy for the body.
Providing the body with water and ions.
To treat persistent dehydration
(Use should be discontinued once basic fluid balance is restored) 

Usage and Dosage

^^ In general, the recommended dose for treatment: 50 ml per kg of body weight per day.
The infusion rate should be reduced if heart and lung disease are present.
The maximum recommended infusion rate is 12 ml/kg/hour.
Otherwise, it is likely to cause glycosuria and osmotic diuresis.
Or according to the opinion of the treating veterinarian 

Contraindications

^^ Excessive dextrose injection may cause hypokalemia. 

Warnings

^^ Intravenous administration must be done slowly and performed under strict aseptic conditions.
-The solution must be heated to body temperature before being injected into a vein.
It should be noted that sodium excretion may be impaired after surgery/trauma, and excessive sodium intake may occur in animals with weak heart or kidneys.
-This product should not be used for long periods of time unless there is loss
Persistent excess of electrolytes as this may lead to hypokalemia.
