Indications

^^ As an aid in treating glucose deficiency in cows, horses and sheep, 
In the treatment of blood acetone (ketosis) in cows and pregnancy disease in sheep. 

Usage and Dosage

^^ It is given intravenously only.
For cows and horses: 100 to 500 ml depending on size and condition. The treatment can be repeated over several hours or for consecutive days as needed.
Sheep: 1 ml per kg live weight. The treatment can be repeated over several hours or for consecutive days as needed.
Or as directed by your veterinarian. 

Contraindications

^^ Excessive dextrose injection may cause hypokalemia. 

Warnings

^^ The preparation should be used with caution in animals with known overt or subclinical diabetes.
-The solution should be heated to body temperature.
-Fluid balance, electrolyte concentrations, and acid-base balance should be monitored during injection.
- The preparation should not be used for resuscitation.
- Do not use the product unless it is clear and the seal and container are intact.
