Info

^^ Pharmacokinetics:
Intravenously, rapid and complete absorption of 100%. It is not excreted in the urine unless its renal concentration exceeds the renal threshold for dextrose (i.e. glucose). It is the highest concentration of glucose in the blood that the kidneys can completely reabsorb without it appearing in the urine. When this concentration is exceeded, the kidneys begin to excrete glucose in the urine. This happens when the renal tubules are unable to reabsorb the excess amount.
