Indications
Oxytetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, effective against G+ and G- bacteria. It is used to treat pulmonary, intestinal, and urinary infections and to treat mastitis in cows, camels, sheep goats, and small calves.
Usage and Dosage
Deep I.M or S.C injection:
Sheep, goats, and small calves: 2.5ml/50kg b.w.
Cows and camels: 5ml/100kg b.w.
(One dosage daily for 3-4 days).
Withdrawal Period
For meat: 14 days–for milk: 7 days
