Indications of Simaclone (Oxytetracycline and Diclofenac injection):
It is used in cattle , and camels: for the treatment of pneumonia, pasteurella, rotting of the hoofs, actinobacillus, joint diseases, and as an adjuvant treatment in cases of udder and uterine infections, and for the treatment of anaplasmosis, trichophytosis (trichiasis streptococcus), abscesses, skin and topical infections, and infections after surgeries and after childbirth. It is also used as an anti-inflammatory, and as an antipyretic. It is used in sheep and goats: for the treatment of pneumonia, uterine and udder infections, rotting hooves, joint diseases, chlamydia, abscesses, and for the treatment of infections after surgeries and after childbirth. It is also used as an anti-inflammatory and antipyretic.
Contraindications:
Do not use Simaclone (Oxytetracycline and Diclofenac injection) in cases of hypersensitivity to tetracyclines or diclofenac. Do not give it to animals with severe hepatic or renal impairment.
Side Effects:
Sometimes asthenia may observe, due to tetracycline in some weak animals. If Simaclone (Oxytetracycline and Diclofenac injection) is used during the development of teeth in late pregnancy a change their color . Mild inflammation or necrosis may appear in the glaucoma area. Some cases of skin photosensitivity may appear.
Interactions:
It should not admin in combination with penicillin compounds, calcium salts, iron and antacids, because they form insoluble compounds that lead to a decrease in effectiveness. - Do not administer non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), corticosteroids, anticoagulants or diuretics concomitantly or within 24 hours of taking the product as the risk of gastrointestinal ulceration and other adverse reactions may be increased.
Warnings:
* Do NOT give it to horses, dogs and cats * It is possible to cause transient local swelling for a few days at the injection site. * an allergic reaction may occurred. In such a case, antihistamines are given immediately, and treatment is carried out according to symptoms when necessary.
Withdrawal Period:
Meat: 28 days Milk: 8 days
