Ampicillin is a broad spectrum antibiotic active against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. It is used to treat acute and chronic mastitis and to treat infections, which are caused by mogistocia and retention of placenta in cows, sheep, goats, camels and horses.
Usage and Dosage
This product is given by interring a matrical catheter inside the uterus neck then the whole necessary dose is emptied. Cows, horses & camels: one injector. Sheep and goats: Half an injector. The dose is repeated after 24 hours for 3 days.
