Indications of Sulphamiradin (Tetra Sulfonamides injection veterinary):
It is used to treat primary and secondary infections associated with respiratory, digestive, and urogenital infections, bronchitis, enteritis, pneumonia, kidney inflammation, mastitis, septicemia in calves, and omphalitis in cows, camels, calves, sheep, goats, and small animals.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to trimethoprim and/or sulfa compounds in animals with hepatic or renal failure
Side Effects:
Allergic reactions after prolonged treatment and high doses of crystalluria may occur
Interactions:
It is advised not to use flumequine compounds during treatment with this preparation
Usage and dosage for Sulphamiradin (Tetra Sulfonamides injection veterinary):
It is given by intramuscular injection Cows, camels, and horses: 7 ml per 100 kg live weight Calves: 4 ml per 50 kg live weight Sheep and goats: 1 ml per 10 kg live weight. Dogs and cats: 1 ml per 10 kg live weight One dose is given. Acute injury recurs after 12 hours
Warnings:
During treatment, the animal must be provided with a sufficient amount of drinking water to avoid crystallization and precipitation of the sulfa in its body
Withdrawal Period:
Meat: 8 days Milk: 5 days
