Mode of action or general info:

This product is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that contains lincomycin and spectinomycin. Lincomycin is a macrolide antibiotic class (the Lincosamides group), that usually uses its chlorine salts. It spreads throughout all tissues except the nervous system and is excreted mainly through the liver, bile, and urine. As for spectinomycin, it is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis. This preparation is effective against bacteria that produce beta-lactamase enzymes.
This product is used to treat infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria.
(ex: Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, clostridium, Bacillus anthracis and Corynebacterium) and Gram-negative bacteria (ex: Bordetella, Actinobacillus, some species of Nocardia and Actinomyces)

Indications of Spectolinc (Lincomycin & Spectinomycin injection veterinary):

This product is a broad spectrum antibiotic used to treat gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and deferent bacteria which sensitive to lincomycin & spectinomycin. 
In cows & calves: respiratory & intestinal tract infections. 
Sheep & goats: respiratory tract infections & foot rot. 
Poultry: For prevention & treatment of cholera, coryza, and sinusitis.
Dogs & cats: pneumonia, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pyogenic and pustulous dermatitis, abscesses, cystitis, and metritis.

Contraindications:

Allergies to any of the product components.

Usage and dosage for Spectolinc (Lincomycin & Spectinomycin injection veterinary):

Cows & calves: 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight for 2-4days. 
Sheep & goats: 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight for 3 days. 
Poultry: 0.1ml per 1kg of body weight for 3 days
Dogs and cats: 1 ml per 5 kg of body weight. 
In acute infections, the first three doses should be given at 12-hour intervals, and then every 24 hours for 3 to 7 days.

Withdrawal Period:

For meat 14 days
for milk  48 hours.
