Indications of Providan (Ketoprofen injection veterinary):
Antipyretic and analgesics, reduce the risk of choking associated with viral and bacterial infections and the lameness caused by tendinitis and bruises, Hoofitis, myositis, and osteomyelitis in horses, buffaloes, cows, camels, sheep, goats, dogs, and cats. It is used to treat the following diseases: Mastitis, Hoofitis, Tendinitis, Pain caused by surgeries, Udder edema after birth, Clinical mastitis, and Milk fever (Hypocalcaemia) in cows, sheep, goats, buffaloes, and camels.
Contraindications:
acute kidney failure cases.
Interactions:
Don't use diuretics or anticoagulants.
Usage and dosage for Providan (Ketoprofen injection veterinary):
For I.M, I.V and S.C injection : - Buffaloes, cows, camels, sheep, goats. 1 ml/33 kg body weight – horses: 1 ml / 45 kg body weight intravenous only. – Dogs and cats: 1 ml / 50 kg body weight. Once daily for 3-5 days.
Warnings:
Do not mix Providan with other drugs in the same injection – Don't use Providan during pregnancy.
Withdrawal Period:
- meat: 4days. – milk: nil.
