Useful info

Managing pain and fever in animals: when and how to use nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)?
Controlling pain and inflammation is an essential factor in ensuring the health and rapid recovery of farm animals, as persistent pain and fever cause the animal to abstain from food and drink, which weakens immunity, further deteriorates health and reduces productivity.
When to resort to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as Meloxicam)?
* Acute respiratory infections: to control high fever and relieve inflammation of the lung and respiratory tract.
* Udder infections: To reduce swelling and severe pain associated with bacterial infections in the udder.
* Inflammation of the joints and muscles: to relieve cases of lameness and joint pain and enable the animal to move.
* Cases of colic and surgical pain: to provide quick and effective pain relief after operations or cases of digestive system disorder.
The importance of using injections and their triple effect:
1. Analgesic: It gives the animal quick relief that allows it to return to eating feed and water, which is the first key to speedy recovery.
2. Antipyretic: Helps break high temperature (fever) and protect body tissues from heat stress and damage.
3. Anti-inflammatory: It reduces puffiness, swelling, and fluid accumulation in the area of injury.
4. Supportive treatment: Meloxicam injection is considered a major support when given in conjunction with appropriate antibiotics. It speeds up the treatment's delivery to the tissues and reduces the side effects of infection.
Instructions for use:
* Adhere to the recommended dose according to the weight and type of the animal (cows, horses, sheep).
* Avoid excessive or random use
* Taking into account the Withdrawal Period for milk and processed animal meat.
