Indications of Methionine 20% Injection veterinary

It is used as a supplement to treat liver diseases such as hepatitis, fatty liver, and metabolic disorders such as excess acetone in the blood. Lack of calcium in the blood and acidification of urine in cattle, horses, sheep, goats, and dogs.
How it works
Methionine works to get rid of fat, thus providing protection for the liver and preventing the accumulation of fat within its tissues. Because methionine is one of the essential amino acids containing sulfur atoms, it leads to protects the liver from damage, and fat accumulation.

Usage and Dosage for Methionine 20% Injection veterinary

Admin as a slow injection, intramuscularly or intravenously:
Horses: 50 ml
 Cows: 50 - 100 ml
Sheep and goats: 20 ml
Dogs: up to 10ml
Repeat after a week or as directed by the doctor.

Warnings

It is preferable not to use the preparation 48 hours before the race for racehorses.
