Indications
Ampicillin is a broad spectrum antibiotic active against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. It is used to treat acute and chronic mastitis in cows, camels, horses, sheep and goats
Withdrawal Period
For milk: 3days, for meat: 7 days.
Usage and Dosage
The udder is washed with soap and water, dried and completely milked then the injector is injected in the infected quarter.
Cows, horses and camels: A whole injector.
Sheep and goats: Half an injector.
The dose is repeated after 24 hours for 3days.
