This product has a number of veterinary uses. It acts as a laxative, and in the cases of magnesium deficiency, anticonvulsant, and bronchodilator, with hypomagnesemia, and may be used to treat cardiac arrhythmias.

Usage and dosage for Magnesium sulfate Powder veterinary:

dissolve the dose in water then give it orally:
Cows and horses:    25-100g for each 100kg   b.w.
Sheep and goats:    10-40 g for each 40 kg b.w.
