Indications:
amoxicillin is considered one of penicillin derivatives which they are active against gram+ bacteria such as staphylococcus pneumococcus and gram- bacteria such as gonococcus and meningococcus. It is bacteriostat and bactericide. The product is used to treat infection caused by bacteria as the following cases:
-To treat gastro-intestinal & respiratory infection in calves and poultry.
- To treat urinary and biliary passages infection in cows, camel, sheep, goats, horses, calves and poultry.
- To treat infection caused by salmonella bacteria at calves
Usage and Dosage:
it is given by mouth or with drinking water:
Calves and horses : 4-8 g twice a day
Goats and sheep : 2-8 g twice a day
Poultry: 100g /200litre drinking water
(Treatment continues for 3-5 days )
Warring:
Not to be given to penicillin-sensitive animals or to which have renal failure.
